CAHPS
The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) program is a nationally standardized survey system to examine patients' experiences and improve care quality at the ambulatory and facility level.
The system was designed to serve patients and providers alike – allowing hospitals to assess patients’ perceptions of care and allowing consumers to assess an organization’s patient-centeredness of care. NRC Picker’s solutions complement the CAHPS program – providing healthcare organizations with the tools necessary to improve the patient experience, attain high reporting scores and maximize reimbursement from the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid.
