Berwick Headlines 2012 Symposium, Registration Now Available Online
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Donald Berwick will be the keynote presenter at the 18th Annual NRC Picker International Patient-Centered Care Symposium! Berwick is the leading advocate for high-quality healthcare and is the former Administrator for the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. He is also the Founding CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a nonprofit dedicated to improving healthcare around the world.
The symposium will be held September 16-19 in Oak Brook, Illinois at the Marriott Resort.

Lakeview Hospital Wins State-Wide Award
The Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) has awarded NRC Picker client, Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minn. with the MHA Patient Safety Excellence Award. With this award, Lakeview joins an elite group of 45 other facilities in Minnesota that have achieved more than 90 percent of MHA recommended actions.

Compare CG-CAHPS Results through AHRQ Database
Through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has created a CAHPS online reporting system. With this system, Medical Groups and Clinicians can get comparative data for the CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey (CG-CAHPS).
